Oranges
As the Ijen Plateau is an area in between volcanoes, it's soil is fertile and its landscape stunning. The management of the plantation is in a constant process of learning to manage the area to grow both economically and ecologically.
60 hectares of orange trees were harvested only in 2011, planted in 2009. The management is still in the process of learning to manage the area to grow both economically and ecologically. The trees are intermingled with the coffee plants and do provide some shade.
